STEM is a short definition of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. For this reason, it is related to the construction of the relations, positions and situations of the mentioned scientific fields with each other. Modern day requirements and scientific developments also led for the diversity of products included in daily life. STEM reveals the need for students, who are a reflection of the quality of education, to be aware of these relationships and to have scientific mind to develop products. For this reason, it is important for the students to make sense of the relationships, facts and concepts between S-T-E-M and to know that the mentioned concept in one field also exists in another field. A concept learned in one field finds its application in another field. When carrying out STEM activities, the main purpose is to ensure this coordination of the knowledge by establishing the relationship of the concept with other fields.

For this purpose, there are experts each of whom has specialty in required fields and giving lectures in STEM education program. Experts are from different departments and postgraduate education is provided through these experts. For this reason, in the STEM non-thesis master's program, specialization training is provided by academics working in different departments.
